Got an email saying I won a US visa lottery. Asked to pay Rs 50,000 as a “processing fee” to get the visa. Is this how it works?

VISA LOTTERY SCAM! The US government never charges fees upfront for lottery visas. DO THIS: Don’t pay, check the official DV Lottery site (dvprogram.state.gov). CONTACT: Report to cybercrime.gov.in + US Embassy fraud team.
