Got “TRAI notice”—my phone will be disconnected in 2 hours for illegal use!

Received an automated call from “TRAI” saying my mobile number has been used for illegal activities and will be disconnected in 2 hours unless I press 9 to speak to an officer. What should I do?
TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) does NOT call individuals or threaten disconnection via automated calls. Pressing 9 connects you to a scammer who will try to extract personal/financial details. DO THIS: Disconnect immediately, don’t press any key, block the number. CONTACT: Report the number at sancharsaathi.gov.in/sfc/ + call 1930 + file complaint at cybercrime.gov.in.
