SMS from “Election Commission of India” says my Voter ID has an address error and I need to link my Aadhar immediately via a link or my ID will be cancelled before elections. Seems urgent!
FAKE ELECTION COMMISSION SCAM! The ECI never sends unsolicited SMS links or threatens cancellation. Any updates are done ONLY on voters.eci.gov.in. DO THIS: Don’t click the link, don’t enter Aadhar details, delete the SMS. CONTACT: Report at cybercrime.gov.in + ECI’s official portal + your local BLO (Booth Level Officer) for genuine corrections.
