A casting agency called saying I was selected for a Bollywood web series from my Instagram profile. Asked for Rs 20,000 as a “screen test and grooming fee.” Is this how film industry works?
FAKE AUDITION SCAM! Legitimate casting agencies NEVER charge actors for auditions. DO THIS: Don’t pay, research the agency on MX Player/Netflix official pages, and verify through established talent management sites. CONTACT: Report to cybercrime.gov.in + file complaint with local police + report on Instagram.
