      Got SMS saying “Pay Rs 1 to activate your Rs 5,000 cashback.” Scanned the QR code and entered PIN for Rs 1 payment. Immediately got debit alert for Rs 45,000. What happened?

        FAKE CASHBACK SCAM! Scammers use dynamic QR codes that can charge any amount. Never scan QR codes from SMS or WhatsApp for “cashback.” EMERGENCY: Call your bank immediately for transaction reversal. CONTACT: Report to cybercrime.gov.in + file FIR at local police + call 1930.
