Found a site “zomato-coupons.in” offering Rs 500 Zomato vouchers free. It asked for card details to “verify I’m not a bot.” Entered details — immediately got Rs 8,000 fraudulent transaction alert!
FAKE COUPON PHISHING SCAM! Zomato and all legitimate platforms NEVER need card details to give coupon codes. EMERGENCY: Call your bank immediately to block the card and dispute the Rs 8,000 transaction. CONTACT: Report to cybercrime.gov.in + call 1930 + report to Zomato’s official fraud team + file FIR at local police.
