Got a call from someone saying they’re from XYZ Bank and asking me to verify my account by sharing my OTP. They knew my account number. Should I share it?

STOP! Banks NEVER call asking for OTP, password, or PIN. This is a classic phishing scam. Hang up immediately and do NOT share any OTP. Call your bank directly on the number on your card to verify. If unauthorized transactions happen, report it to your bank’s fraud department immediately. Contact: Your bank’s customer care (on your card) + National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in).
