Got email from “netbanking@axisbank-update.com” saying my net banking needs a security upgrade. Logged in via the link, entered OTP. Within seconds, Rs 80,000 was debited in 3 transactions.

NET BANKING PHISHING — CRITICAL! The domain “axisbank-update.com” is fake. You entered your credentials on a mirror phishing site. IMMEDIATE ACTION: Call Axis Bank’s fraud line (1800-419-5959), freeze your account, change all passwords. CONTACT: Report to cybercrime.gov.in + file FIR at local police + call 1930 immediately.
