Sold a second-hand phone on OLX. Buyer said “I’ll send money, just scan this QR code to receive.” I scanned and entered my UPI PIN — Rs 18,000 was DEBITED from my account! How?
REMOTE ACCESS SCAM! Legitimate banks NEVER ask you to download remote access apps like AnyDesk, TeamViewer, or QuickSupport. EMERGENCY: Call your bank immediately to freeze your account, report unauthorized transfers. CONTACT: Report to cybercrime.gov.in + file FIR at local police + call 1930 immediately.
