Lost mobile network suddenly for 6 hours. When network returned, found Rs 4 lakh transferred from my account in multiple transactions. Bank says someone did KYC update on my number today.
SIM SWAP FRAUD! Scammers get a duplicate SIM issued using fake KYC documents — your SIM stops working and they receive all your OTPs to drain your bank account. EMERGENCY: Call your telecom provider to block the duplicate SIM, freeze your bank account. CONTACT: File FIR at local police + report to cybercrime.gov.in + call 1930 + contact your bank fraud department immediately.
