A travel company contacted me with a holiday package that is significantly cheaper than other providers. They are demanding full payment today to secure the offer. Could this be a scam?

Possibly. Extremely low prices combined with pressure to make immediate payment are common warning signs of travel scams.

Before paying, verify the company’s registration, website, office address, and customer reviews from independent sources. Be especially cautious if payment is requested to a personal account or UPI ID.

Do not rush into payment. If you suspect fraud, stop communication and report the incident to the Cyber Crime Helpline (1930).
