Got a call from “Paytm KYC team.” Agent came home, asked to “verify wallet” by sending Rs 10,000 which would “return in 5 minutes.” I sent it — never returned. Is this refundable?

FAKE KYC AGENT SCAM! No fintech company sends agents home for KYC or asks you to transfer money to “verify.” DO THIS: Dispute the UPI transaction with your bank immediately (within 24 hours for best chance). CONTACT: Report to Paytm’s official support + cybercrime.gov.in + call 1930 + local police.
