TAX REFUND PHISHING! Scammers send fake ITR refund emails with malicious links that steal your login credentials or banking info. Real income tax refunds arrive directly to your bank account registered with ITR. DO THIS: 1) DON’T click the link, 2) Go directly to incometaxindiaonline.gov.in (type URL yourself), login to check your actual refund status, 3) Never share PAN or banking details via email links. CONTACT: Report the phishing email to your bank + cybercrime.gov.in with the fake email screenshot + file complaint on incometax website.
